This protects courier shipping costs against Return to Origin (RTO) doorstep refusals.

Will the courier still collect the full cash amount if an advance deposit is paid?

No. When an advance deposit is verified via bKash, Nagad, or UPI, COD2PAY automatically updates the collection memo in your courier’s API (Pathao, Steadfast, RedX). The courier is instructed to collect only the remaining unpaid balance at the doorstep.

Does COD2PAY hold or escrow merchant funds?

No. COD2PAY is 100% non-custodial software. Customers transfer funds directly to the merchant registered bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or UPI account with zero holding time.

What happens if a customer does not pay the required advance deposit?

The order remains in your Shopify Admin with the tag #COD2Pay-Deposit-Pending. You can configure automated SMS reminders, contact the customer, or hold warehouse dispatch until the deposit is confirmed.
